Addison Circle

We have continued to explore the area around us and try new places. We love to walk and hike at new parks so we went to Addison Circle to see what it was all about. It is a beautiful park but really not for walking. It is small, maybe a city block, but would be a great place for events. They have a calendar posted and put on events all through the year including concerts, food tastings and more.

It is very clean with lots of seating available, perfect for the people who work near by to have a nice lunch break.

Just off the park itself are cute streets that have businesses and we had lunch at a small little bistro. It was a nice afternoon. Again not many shops and limited restaurants so if you head to this area I would recommend making sure an event is going on of your have a plan of where to eat prior to.

It’s a gorgeous area and I think in the future will offer many more restaurants and shops.

Are you looking for a way to get healthier but not ready for an intense workout or weight lifting secession? Start with taking walks. You can do this inside on a treadmill / around your house or outside.

Walking is low impact and easy on your joints. You can walk your neighborhood, beach, country side or anywhere at all. Pop in some head phones and enjoy your favorite music and take some me time.

Walking with me is almost like a run, BUT I do NOT run! I walk very fast and with a purpose. You don’t have to do this but it is kinda fun. In the nice weather I take my lunch break and walk around the office buildings, this is an easy way to take a break from work and get in that 30 minutes. It doesn’t have to be hard, make it enjoyable take your kids, pets, family or just go on you own.

Additional benefits are improving your mood, balance, strengthening your bones and muscles. Take advantage of this full body exercise and start with a fun way to begin your healthy lifestyle.
