I pack my gym bag the night before because I work out so early it allows me a few extra minutes of sleep. Since I work out first and then go to work my gym bag might be packed backwards from most people who pack to go to the gym. I pack to go to work.
The first thing I do is decide what outfit I will be wearing to work, I make sure to have all aspects of that outfit including shoes are in the bag. Next I get together any jewelry I will be wearing with the outfit. I place all of that in the bag. Now I add in my personal care items; deodorant, hair products, make up and face wipes.
I also double check any after work plans I have to ensure I have what I need for that as well. Maybe an outfit change or layering of clothes, sometimes even another workout.
Once I have it all together I put everything in the bag and place it in my closet. I get my workout clothes and shoes for the morning and place them on top of the bag. This way in the morning I go into my closet and get my workout gear on, grab my bag and after washing my face and brushing my teeth I am ready for the day.
I need all the extra sleep I can get!

Walking is low impact and easy on your joints. You can walk your neighborhood, beach, country side or anywhere at all. Pop in some head phones and enjoy your favorite music and take some me time.
Walking with me is almost like a run, BUT I do NOT run! I walk very fast and with a purpose. You don’t have to do this but it is kinda fun. In the nice weather I take my lunch break and walk around the office buildings, this is an easy way to take a break from work and get in that 30 minutes. It doesn’t have to be hard, make it enjoyable take your kids, pets, family or just go on you own.
Additional benefits are improving your mood, balance, strengthening your bones and muscles. Take advantage of this full body exercise and start with a fun way to begin your healthy lifestyle.
I am so excited to tell you about my first aerial yoga experience here in Boerne! I have seen and heard about this studio and been dying to try it out since I moved to Boerne. I finally attended my first class at Aerial Yoga Boerne. The studio is located just off I-10 in Boerne near John’s Rd. It is a great studio! Extremely clean, modern and the staff are wonderful.
It was a small class and the instructor was also the owner. My friend and I had never done it before and she was awesome, she explained everything to us from what to do but also about the steel beams and fabric holding us up. Each hammock can hold up to 2000 pounds, so you are safe! I loved every minute of the class. I love yoga and this really gives you a different range of motion and muscle use. The resistance is different and makes some poses harder while others are easier. There are many variations of poses for all levels so don’t be afraid to try.
