The Pub McKinney was the first restaurant/bar we ventured out to visit. It is located in Historic Downtown McKinney. The venue offers a great atmosphere, plenty of seating, pool tables & games, full bar (specializing in Whiskey), craft beer and good food. There was a great outdoor seating area, it was cold the night we were there but we both commented it was a great space. I can’t wait to go back in some nicer weather.
We visited for an evening out for drinks and appetizers. The service was great, drinks good and the food was yummy. It was a great first stop in the area to see a new place and explore. This will definitely be one of the stops we take visitors and head to for a date night. Are you ready to go with us?
I was given a recommendation to try the Thunderbird Real Food Bar and it was a great one. I am very aware of what ingredients are in the foods I am eating because I don’t feel the need for all the chemicals when there are so many delicious real food options!
Another perfect thing about these, they are made right here in Austin, TX. I love local. I really liked that when I was in the store I could easily and quickly see what ingredients went into the bar, very few and all whole foods.
The first bar I had was the Texas Maple Pecan and it was delicious, I could eat those every day. I also tried the Almond Apricot Vanilla and this one was a little different for me. I loved the flavor but the chunks of Apricot were just too big for me. I would prefer it be smaller as I am not a huge Apricot fan. However all the taste was great. The texture is great, it’s soft but not chewy so nothing stuck in your teeth.
Its a perfect, healthy grab and go snack or breakfast. I definitely recommend you try them.
