I know that a lot of people want to focus on the number on the scale. I encourage you to stay off the scale. My weight fluctuates up and down about 5 lbs depending on water weight and other factors. I also know that I have felt great about the way I look when the number hasn’t been the lowest. I go by how my clothes fit and how I feel.
Some days I think ugh I am not changing but then I put on a pair of pants and they don’t even fit anymore and are falling off. I could weigh the same! As you get healthier you lose the fat and gain muscle (which weighs more) and your inches fall off leaving you smaller but maybe with a higher number. If you feel great and see a difference that is all that matters.
My journey started in 2011 and as you can see my number goes up and down quit a bit. I don’t weigh myself often and when I do it is really just out of curiosity. I don’t focus on a number I want to lose anymore. I did at first and since I have let all of that go I see a much bigger difference. I am down clothing sizes, have more energy and endurance. Those are the things that matter to me. If I can look in the mirror and be proud of how I look I am happy. It’s about you not what anyone else thinks!
So stay off the scale and feel it!
