Peggy’s On The Green

I love a great dinner out with family. While my mom was in town we took advantage and tried a restaurant we hadn’t been to yet, Peggy’s On The Green. It is located in a gorgeous spot connected to the Kendall Inn. The outdoor area is to die for and with a huge bar and fireplace it’s a great place to go for a cocktail.

We sat inside next to the huge windows that wrap around the exterior of the restaurant. The view was beautiful and the atmosphere inside is great. One of my favorite parts is that the restaurant is that it is named after the owners mother and on the menu is an adorable photo of him and his mother, Peggy.

I enjoyed the crab cakes, my mom had the salmon and my husband had a New York strip with a baked potato. The crab cakes were huge and so much crab, the sauce on the side was tangy and a delicious compliment to the crap. Everyone was very happy with their food and cocktail choices. Our services was excellent and I cannot wait to go back.

I mean look at those crab cakes, almost 100% crab which is so hard to find in this area. They are about 2 1/2 inches tall and packed full of flavor. Underneath is a fried green tomato and more sauce. If you go please invite me so I can have these again. Who is ready to go eat with me?
