Cave Without A Name

Since we moved to Boerne just over a year ago I have seen signs and heard of Cave Without A Name, I finally went with my mom. It is open 7 days a week so there is a perfect time for everyone to go. The tours go off throughout the day from 10am-5pm. The cost $20 per adult, $10 per child ages 6-12 and free for 6 and under. They also offer discounts and group rates.

The gift shop is a cute little old cottage that the owner of the cave actually used to live in. It is full of gorgeous items mined from the cave that you can take home along with t-shirts and other fun souvenirs.

The entrance got me excited to go in. Looking through the iron gate and seeing all the steps it just made we wonder about what was inside. Right near the entrance you can see the actual sink hole that allowed for the cave to be discovered.

It is made up of 4 rooms and each one is gorgeous and so different. I don’t want to give away too much because I want you all go and learn for yourself. The tour guides are full of so much knowledge and love to share it. They are able to answer all questions and great with kids. You can even see some research projects that college students are doing. I was more than impressed with the tour, it was also well worth the money. It lasted about an hour maybe more, I am not even sure because I was too busy listening to the guide.

They put on concerts inside the cave and you can even have a wedding. I really want to attend a concert so be sure to visit their website to see all the events they have going on.

My mom and I had a blast. Make sure you go and tell me what you think! Be sure to listen to how it got it’s name 🙂 http://www.cavewithoutaname.com/
